DETAILS FOR CROSS COUNTRY TOMORROW:

Wear:
1. Cedar P.E. shirt & shorts with skirt.
2. Track shoes or school shoes.
3. Plain white socks or Cedar socks.

Bring:
1. Radio-frequency Identity Tag (RFID)
2. Cedar House Tee to change from P.E. shirt.
(If not you're gonna wear your stinking P.E. shirt all the way home!)
3. 1.5 litre bottle of water
4. An umbrella/raincoat/windbreaker (optional)
5. Medicine if necessary - those with asthmatic conditions, please run with your inhaler!
6. Towel to wipe yourself dry from your sweat.

Things NOT to bring:
1. Valuables - MP3 Players & excessive cash (just enough money to lunch & bus-fare home)

Programme:
0715 - Report at Temasek Polytechnic Stadium; attendance taking

0740 - Opening address by Principal

Start of race for Sec 4 - 0750/0815
Start of race for Sec 1 - 0800/0825
Start of race for Sec 3 - 0810/0835
Start of race for Sec 2 - 0820/0845

0845-0930 - Return of i-Tags

0945 - Prize Presentation

1030 - Dimissal from Temasek Poly

Info prior to run
1. Have a light breakfast in the morning.
2. Drink some water (200-300ml) half an hour before the race
3. If you are not feeling well in the morning, please do not participate in the competitive or mass run. Inform the PE teachers.
4. During inclement weather, please seek appropriate shelter.

During your run *IMPORTANT*
Recognise some of the symptoms of heat injuries:
1. Goose pimples
2. Dry skin & no perspiration
3. Throbbing pressure in the head.
4. Nausea
5. Unsteadiness
6. Chilling
SEEK FIRST AID TREATMENT IMMEDIATELY!
